Listen to this.
The process of building a GORUCK GR1
packlite: Jason, GORUCK founder, posted a fantastic and detailed article about how GORUCK builds each GR1. It is a manual process and one that requires care, precision and a lot of skill. Yes, you pay good money for a GR1, but now you know why: they are tough and durable packs that are built manually with skilled workers, in the USA. Worth reading. Check it out
packlite: John asked: can you take a suit to a trip and still pack light? Absolutely. I already posted about this, but here’s what I do with my suit. I use an Eagle Creek Pack-It Garment Sleeve that fits tight inside my GR1 or a comfortably inside my GR2. Simple and light.
